The stately Villa Domus Giulia boasts a pool with panoramic views. It lies surrounded by olive trees in a sunny location directly above the sea between Recco and Camogli, the renowned seaside resorts in the Cinqueterre region. Domus Giulia is located on the outskirts of a quiet, green residential area. You access the estate via a residents-only street, which is fairly steep towards the end, only 2.5 km from Recco.
Both the lively town centre of Recco and Camogli, with its famous harbour setting, are within easy reach, only 1km via a romantic footpath. Here you will find everything your heart desires, from high-end fish restaurants to gluten-free pizzerias, from hip cocktail bars to enchanted coffee bars and from colourful weekly markets to elegant boutiques. Naturally, the renowned beaches of the region invite you to take a splash. This wonderful region is ideal for a multitude of day trips. Genoa is only a few km away, the famous resort of Portofino is easily accessible by boat and a stroll through the world-famous villages of the Cinqueterre is virtually obligatory.
Domus Giulia boasts a living area of 200 m² laid out over two floors. On the first floor, there are two large double bedrooms (super king size beds) and a triple room, all with sea views, and two modern bathrooms (one with a shower and one with a whirlpool). On the same floor but with a separate entrance, there is a further small apartment with a bedroom (super king size bed), modern shower room and a gorgeous private terrace. On the ground floor, there is a large, well-equipped kitchen with direct access to the loggia with sea views and a pool, as well as a large dining area with direct access to the pool terrace. Three steps take you into a wide, spacious living area with comfortable seating furniture, including a pull-out double sofa bed, an open fireplace and satellite TV, as well as another shower room. The house provides sufficient space for an additional camp bed, meaning that up to 12 people can comfortably holiday here.
On the large pool terrace at the front of the house you can enjoy unrestricted views of the sea across the entire Golfo del Paradiso, all the way from Genoa to Tuscany. Here you are in a secluded location, virtually floating high above the sea. The large, terraced garden and the spacious pool area provide plenty of space for quiet moments and sociable gatherings. Swim in the pool (5 m x 11 m, depth 1.50 m) whilst enjoying spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea or relax on one of the sun loungers by the pool or in the sunbathing area under the olive trees (if you are holidaying with children, please note that some of the terraces and stairs, as well as the pool are not secured with railing). A table tennis table invites you to get a little more active.
There is a covered parking space for your car in front of the house. The proprietors use a further apartment with a separate entrance on the second floor of the house and will be happy to look after you personally. The handy gas central heating allows you to have a relaxed holiday even when the days are slightly cooler.
